Takaful Emarat begins trading on Dubai Financial Market
Takaful Emarat PJSC was listed on Sunday by Dubai Financial Market (DFM), paving the way for its market debut with an authorised, issued and paid-up capital of Dh150 million and a share value of Dh1.
Dubai: Takaful Emarat PJSC was listed on Sunday by Dubai Financial Market (DFM), paving the way for its market debut with an authorised, issued and paid-up capital of Dh150 million and a share value of Dh1.
Takaful Emarat began trading under the trading symbol "Takaful-Em," which appeared on DFM screens, trading systems and publications.
Takaful Emarat will be classified within DFM's insurance sector stocks. According to a statement, Takaful Emarat has completed all the necessary requirements affixed by the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (ESCA) and DFM.
Sheikh Faisal Bin Khalid Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Takaful Emarat, said: "We are confident that Takaful Emarat's listing on DFM will attract many investors because of our sound financial and operational records, as well as the growth of the insurance sector in particular and the UAE's economy in general."
