Dubai: mashreq said one-third of its employees were Emiratis at the end of 2007, making it one of the leading employers of UAE nationals in the banking industry.
Chief executive officer Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair said the bank is focused on achieving the annual four per cent recruitment target for nationals stipulated by the Central Bank.
"With almost 33 per cent of its workforce being locals, the bank is one of the largest employers of nationals in the UAE banking sector and the private sector as a whole," he said.
