Dubai: Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai International Financial Centre and Chairman of the High Board of Directors of the DIFC, honoured Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair for his efforts and effective contributions in developing the financial sector in Dubai and the UAE during his tenure as Chairman of DIFC Authority, and current post as Deputy Chairman of DIFC Higher Board of Directors.
Shaikh Maktoum honoured Al Ghurair following the board meeting of the DIFC. During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Centre and in the presence of members of the board, they discussed a number of issues, the most notable being the adoption of DIFC’s strategy, which includes its authorities.
The meeting also covered the latest developments and projects submitted by the DIFC’s Courts to develop the services provided to the public and the business community in Dubai and the UAE, as well as to review the real estate development plan for the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Additionally, Shaikh Maktoum commended the Centre’s efforts and its bodies for developing a strategy for the next ten years, and directed them to provide excellent services to their clients.
