Dubai: Xpress Money, a global instant money transfer brand and Lebanese Canadian Bank (LCB), have entered into an agreement by which LCB will provide Xpress Money services through its widely networked branches.
LCB officials have said that the new partnership would help achieve thriving business between the two institutions and would also benefit expats from Lebanon, enabling them to send and receive money anywhere worldwide.
"LCB, being one of the leading banks in Lebanon, would help Xpress Money reach out to a wider base of the Lebanese population," Xpress Money said in a statement.
"Xpress Money has embarked on an aggressive plan to optimise its visibility worldwide, strengthen its network by identifying and associating with capable partners across the globe and by investing in state-of-the-art technology which consistently improves its service offering, the benefits of which are passed on to its customers."
Xpress Money has a fast-growing presence across the world with its agent network including many banks and non-banking entities.
Currently the brand offers "affordable instant money transfer service", payment confirmation through SMS messaging to the sender upon payment collection by the beneficiary, and strategically located pay-in and pay-out locations covering the major residential and commercial hubs across the world.
