Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank said its new branch in Abu Dhabi's Mussafah Industrial Area has begun operations.
The branch is Adib's first in the industrial area and its sixth in the capital, the bank said in a statement.
"The new branch represents only a fraction of the bank's strategic expansion plan for 2005 as it plans to expand its network of branches across the country," the statement said.
Adib has 17 branches in the UAE.
