Abu Dhabi: Royal Jet, the Abu Dhabi-based international luxury flight services company chaired by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, will enter 2011 with an even stronger global presence.

This follows the signing on Monday of a partnership with Aviation Services Management (ASM), an industry leading company providing a wide range of specialised business and commercial aviation services to target the fast-growing Indian market.

Ahmed Al Mamari, Chief Operating Officer for Royal Jet and Vito Gomes, Founder & Managing Director, Aviation Services Management signed the agreement, in the presence of Fahad Wali, Acting Vice President Commercial who facilitated the partnership.

"The number of high net worth individuals in India is experiencing considerable growth, which, when combined with a significant gap in the availability of business jets with 10 to 42 passenger capacity, presents excellent opportunities for business aviation across the Indian sub continent and for Royal Jet in particular," said Wali.

"With ASM's strong foundation in the UAE and network of offices across India coupled with Royal Jet's heritage and award-winning service capabilities, this agreement will undoubtedly result in positive benefits for both parties," he added.

Established in 1998 in the United Kingdom - BVI, ASM has ventured into the UAE, operating and delivering aviation services network for Asia, Middle East, Africa, CIS, Europe and the US. The company provides 24-hour year-round services, with an emphasis on security and safety.

"We are delighted to forge a relationship with Royal Jet, the global leader in the private aviation industry," said Gomes. "With this partnership we can bring the finest aviation services to the emerging Indian market.  ASM has deep roots in India and understand the needs for corporate and discerning individual travellers from India."

Now in its eighth year, Royal Jet has well established presence in the UAE and Kuwait. And in the last 18 months, its footprint in the Saudi Arabian market has grown significantly through its partnership with Arabasco, the Fixed Based Operations (FBO) and maintenance facility provider in the kingdom.

In addition, last year in partnership with Maximus Air Cargo, the UAE's largest dedicated cargo aircraft operator and Royal Jet's sister company under the Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) Group, it launched its sales office at Stansted Airport that further enhanced its presence in the UK and European markets.
