RAK Airways launches 11th route with Kathmandu service
Starting on February 15, RAK Airways will operate three flights a week to Kathmandu
Dubai: RAK Airways said on Tuesday that it has expanded its route network to 11 destinations with the introduction of flights to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Starting on February 15, RAK Airways will operate three flights a week to Kathmandu, the carrier stated.
"Kathmandu is a destination that appeals to both leisure and business travellers. The tourism industry is key focus for the Nepalese government. Last year's dedicated tourism campaign increased visitor numbers to the country by approximately 20 per cent." RAK Airways CEO, Omar Jahameh, said in a statement.
The Ras Al Khaimah based carrier, which relaunched operations in 2010, stated that one-way, all-inclusive fares to Kathmandu start at Dh499, while return fares start from Dh899.
