Dubai: Qatar Airways has stepped up its presence in the Asian market with a seventh destination in mainland China following the launch of the Hangzhou route on December 20.

The Doha-based carrier will operate the route four times weekly with a two class 260 seat configuration Airbus A330.

The QR 868 flight operates on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The addition of Hangzhou increases Qatar Airways capacity from 41 to 45 non-stop flights each week serving China.
