Oman Air slashes Muscat to Dubai fares
Move comes ahead of flydubai service
Muscat: With flydubai starting flights between Dubai and Muscat at low fares, passengers travelling between the two cities would benefit the most with Oman Air announcing a drastic cut in its fare from Muscat to Dubai.
For 22 Omani riyals (Dh209) passengers can travel from Muscat to Dubai one way. The fare includes full in-flight services, a generous baggage allowance, pre-flight seat selection, extra baggage allowance, lounge access for Sindbad Silver and Gold frequent flyers, in addition to carry-on hand luggage, according to a press release from Oman's national airline yesterday.
"Oman Air offers the best connections between Muscat and Dubai with up to six daily flights. We are the only legacy carrier to offer a rate that cannot be matched even by low-cost carriers," said Abdul Razzaq Al Raisi, General Manager Worldwide Sales.
"We plan to build on the legacy that we have created and the niche that we have carved...within our growing network, Oman Air is sure to consolidate its position as ‘the first-choice airline'," he added.
