Riyadh: To celebrate its second year of services between Beirut, Riyadh and Jeddah, Nasair, a prominent Saudi airline conducted a ceremony in Beirut which was attended by top airline industry figures, travel agencies and dignitaries from Lebanon.

The ceremony was hosted by Dr Maria Hanne, Nasair Chief Commercial Officer.

Dr Maria said in her speech during the ceremony that Nasair is serving its customers in Lebanon with 14 flights weekly from Beirut to Riyadh and Jeddah. She added that Nasair started its Beirut service in July 2008, with only three flights from Beirut to Jeddah.

"We are also proud that Nasair is the leading smart airline to carry the pilgrims and Umrah performers from and to Lebanon," added Dr Maria.

She attributed the success of Nasair to the excellent performances by Nasair regional representatives in Lebanon and to the confidence and support of more than 180 travel agencies.

She also mentioned that Nasair's advanced fleet, which includes "12 modern aircraft, is expected to rise to 15 aircraft by the end of the 2010", enables Nasair to have more than 400 flights weekly to 30 domestic and international destinations.
