Mohammad Bin Zayed meets officials at Idex

Meets with ministers and representatives of countries participating in the International Defence Exhibition (Idex) 2015

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday met with ministers and representatives of countries participating in the International Defence Exhibition (Idex) 2015.

Shaikh Mohammad met separately with Bratislav Gasic, Serbia’s Minister of Defence, Denis Manturov, Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade, and Lieutenant General Arto Rati, Finland’s Deputy Minister of Defence. He wished them success in their participation in Idex, which showcases the latest developments in the defence and security industry.

Shaikh Mohammad discussed with the guests ways to bolster between the UAE and their respective countries, as well as the exchange of expertise in the field of defence and industry. Shaikh Mohammad was also briefed on the participation of the officials in Idex, in addition to key products, programmes and projects showcased by companies in the exhibition. He discussed with them the role played by Idex since its launch in strengthening cooperation between companies and countries in the development of the defence industry, as well as the exchange of expertise for future technologies.

During the meetings, Shaikh Mohammad spoke and exchanged views with the officials on recent developments in the regions.

Present during the meeting were Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, and senior officials.
