Freedom Town, Kuwait: Kuwait and Dubai-based low fares airline Jazeera Airways announced on Wednesday the launch of its newest route from Kuwait to the North-Eastern Syrian city of Deir Ez Zoor, demonstrating the airline's commitment to giving the region's travelers even more freedom to fly.

Flying twice weekly from Kuwait on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:05 pm, fares for the airline's newest route is available starting from 15 KD one way.

The historic city on the majestic Euphrates River boasts a rich cultural heritage; as a trading post during the Roman Empire and more recently as a strategic seat during the country's days as a French colony.

The beauty of the surrounding desert, the plethora of leisure and dining facilities along the Euphrates riverbank, the city's strategic location to a number of ancient archeological remains and the excellent local climate, make Deir Ez Zoor an exciting and must-see Syrian destination, with something for everyone.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
