DUBAI: Ireland’s Aer Lingus said on Thursday it has exercised its options to buy two A330-300s from Airbus. The order will increase its A330 fleet to 12 aircraft once delivered.
Aer Lingus is a subsidiary of the International Airlines Group (IAG), which also owns British Airways, Iberia and Vueling. Qatar Airways owns a 15.67 per cent stake in IAG.
Aer Lingus currently operates eight A330s.
