Dubai: An order has been issued to define the organisational structure of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.

The Executive Council resolution No (10) of 2018 authorises the director general of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority to issue all bylaws required to implement this resolution, including approving the mandates for all units under the purview of this resolution.

The new organisational structure is composed of the director general, director of the strategy and corporate excellence department, in addition to the director general office, the legal affairs office, and the internal audit office.

The organisational structure includes aviation safety and environment sector, aviation security and accident investigation sector, air transport, and international affairs sector, and the corporate support and communication sector.

This resolution annuls the Executive Council resolution No (20) of 2016, pertaining the organisational structure of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and any other legislation that contradict or challenge its articles. This resolution is effective the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
