Gulf Air to represent Mena on SITA Council

The airlines Director of Information Technology, Jassim Haji, will sit on the council

Dubai: Gulf Air, the Bahraini carrier, has been appointed to the SITA Council as a representative of the Middle East and North Africa.

The airlines Director of Information Technology, Jassim Haji, will sit on the council.

Haji appointment follows other changes at SITA, which is owned by the airline industry. In June, Paul Coby announced he was stepping down as Chairman, however, is remaining on the board. Bill Miller of United Airlines replaced Coby as Chairman.
