Dubai: Flydubai launched a new route on Thursday with its inaugural flight to Hofuf in Saudi Arabia. The new destination for flydubai is the first direct link between Dubai and the Hofuf. The flight will operate a twice-a-week service on Thursdays and Saturdays. Hamad Obaidullah, flydubai’s Chief Commercial Officer, and other members of senior management were on board the inaugural flight. It was welcomed by officials from Al Ahsa Chamber of Commerce, General Authority of Civil Aviation and Al Ahsa Airport.
