Dubai: Passengers looking to book with Etihad Airways will now be able to search for flights on Google’s Flight Search tool.

Etihad announced on Monday that it is teaming up with Google “to make it more convenient for travellers to view the airline’s flight schedules and fares,” according to an Etihad statement.

“We are delighted to announce this major and growing partnership with Google, which will enable us to give guests convenient and full access to our flight information via their preferred search engine,” stated Peter Baumgartner, chief commercial officer of Etihad Airways.

However, access to the Etihad Flight Search will be restricted depending on where passengers are viewing the website from.

“Travellers in the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Poland and Ireland will be able to explore and compare flights,” Etihad stated.

Flight Search can be accessed on tablets, smartphones and desktop computers. Once passengers have selected their flight they can simply click the ‘Book’ button to proceed to the Etihad website to purchase their tickets without having to fill in their flight choices again.
