Etihad Airways is offering a new “SkyStables” service to transport horses and other similar species through its freight division, Etihad Cargo.
The service will be available across Etihad Cargo’s fleet of 10 Airbus and Boeing widebody freighters to its 44 freighter destinations. Personalised charter services to other cities will also be available.
The horses will travel in dedicated stalls equipped with anti-slip floors, which are then loaded in temperature controlled sections of the aircraft.
