Dubai: Etihad Airways said on Monday it is adding a fourth daily flight to the Egyptian capital Cairo next month.

The Abu Dhabi-based airline will start flying four times daily, up from its current three daily flights, on March 27, according to an emailed statement. It said the new service will offer better connections with its flights to and from Asia.

Over two million passengers have flown to and from Cairo since Etihad launched flights to the city in 2014, making it one of its most popular destinations, the airline said.
