Emirates to upgrade to Boeing 777 on Beirut route

Emirates announced on Monday it will upgrade both of its aircraft serving Beirut to Boeing 777 aircraft. The Airbus 330-200 currently deployed on one of the flights will be upgraded to a larger Boeing 777-200LR from June 1, Emirates stated. The other A330-200 will be upgraded to a Boeing 777-300 from January 1, 2016. Emirates has also increased its weekly flights to Dhaka and Kolkata to 21 and 13 respectively effective March 29.
