Dubai: Emirates is increasing capacity on the Dubai-Tunis route with the introduction of Boeing 777-300 services from June 2.

The Boeing aircraft is replacing a smaller Airbus A340-300 that is at present used on the route, according to an airline statement on Tuesday.

The 777 offers a total of 364 seats spread across three cabins, offering 36 per cent more one-way capacity than the 267-seat Airbus A340.

Emirates flies five times a week between Dubai and the Tunisian capital.
