Dubai: Emirates will resume services to Arbil in Iraqi Kurdistan in August, five months after it suspended flights over security concerns as large parts of Iraq fell under the control of Daesh.
The airline’s Dubai-Erbil service will restart on August 15, however, the flight will take longer than it did before the service was suspended due to a longer flight path as a precaution, Emirates said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
