Dubai:

Emirates will lift capacity on its Dubai-Boston service by 40 per cent in August just five months after launching the route.

It announced on Tuesday that it will switch its Boeing 777-200LR currently operating on the route to the larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The larger aircraft will offer 88 additional Economy class seats, bringing the total to 304. There will be eight First class seats and 42 in Business, the same as the previous aircraft.

The capacity switch will start on August 1.
