Dubai: Emirates said on Wednesday it is adding a fifth daily service between Dubai and the Sri Lanka capital of Colombo.
The new service will start on August 1 and increase weekly services on the route to 34, according to an emailed statement.
The additional service adds 2,520 seats and up to 161 tonnes of cargo capacity per week in each direction, which Emirates said is likely to transport fresh food, textiles, pharmaceuticals, household goods, mobile phones, and spare parts for ships and aircraft.
