Emirates Group profits up 34 per cent

Emirates Group, which includes Emirates airline and dnata, reported on Thursday total profits of Dh5.5 billion, up 34 per cent for the financial year ending March 31, 2015.

The company's revenue was Dh96.5 billion, up 10 percent.

Emirates airline reported revenue of Dh88.8 billion for the 12 months ending March 31, up 7 per cent. Airline profit was Dh4.6 billion, up 40 per cent. 

Emirates Group financial year runs from April 1 to March 31. 

Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, announced the results at Emirates headquarters in Dubai.
