Dubai: Emirates has been named Airline of the Year at the Arabian Business Achievement Awards 2012.

Airline recognised by Middle East Business Awards
The airline, flying positively on the back of half year profits of Dh2.1 billion ($575 million), picked up the award at a ceremony on Tuesday at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Emirates was represented at the event by Adel Al Reda, Emirates’ Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations.
A specially selected panel of jurors, led by Arabtec founder Riad Kamal, shortlisted nominations to whittle down the list of winners.
