DUBAI: Dubai Airports has won the Gold Award for Best Internal Communications During a Brand Development Programme’ at the Transform Awards, Middle East and North Africa, at a ceremony held in Dubai recently.

The award category recognises an organisation’s approach in engaging all of its employees, especially in communicating a change in its positioning or brand strategy, to ensure that it occurs at every level across the board.

This year’s judging panel was made up of 10 branding experts from across the region and different industry sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, hospitality and retail.

“As the operator of the world’s busiest airport for international passengers, Dubai Airports is working to transform the travel experience of its customers over the coming years and create airports that feature a radically different experience from that of the current airports. We worked with an agency to create and brand an internal engagement programme to communicate this change internally,” said Anita Mehra, Vice-President of Communications and Business Development at Dubai Airports.
