Dubai: Emirates Group’s dnata, an air travel service provider, expects this summer to be “record-breaking” for Dubai International Airport, according to a statement on Wednesday.

It expects to handle over 50,000 flights, 20 million passengers and 30 million bags during the June to August period.

The services unit said that people resources required for a flight turnaround varies from one aircraft to another. For instance, a Boeing 737 takes 16 people, while the A380 super jumbo requires at least 52 people.
