Aircraft to be leased to Jet Airways as carrier targets growth

Dubai: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced that its leasing division, DAE Capital, and Jet Airways have completed lease agreements for three Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The latest additions will help India’s Jet Airways as it looks to bridge capacity to their Boeing 737 Max aircraft order, which is expected to be added to the carrier’s fleet from 2018.

The addition will also allow Jet Airways to capitalise on growing air traffic demand and strengthen its domestic footprint.
