Dubai: Flydubai’s chief executive, Ghaith Al Ghaith, said the Dubai government has played a vital role in enabling budget carrier flydubai to flourish. He was speaking at the World Low Cost Airlines Congress held in London, UK.
“Throughout our three years of operations we have remained agile in our ability to capitalise on opportunities and we continue to challenge the conventions around low-cost travel,” Al Ghaith said while addressing aviation figures from around the globe, adding that flydubai’s success can be attributed to the commitment and clarity of vision from the UAE’s leaders that has led to the opening up of new opportunities for the airline.
