Dubai: Unite, the trade union that represents the majority of British Airways cabin crew, has announced that strike action will be taken from March 20 to 22 and from March 27 to 30, a spokesperson of the union said.

This will also affect Dubai flights.

As of now, BA is cancelling one out of three daily Dubai flights as follows:

March 20-22

BA0105 London-Dubai scheduled for departure 20:.40

March 22

BA 0104 Dubai-London scheduled for departure 11:00

All other daily flights in the period will operate as usual until further notice, the airline said. Those flights are:

BA0107 London-Dubai departure 12:35

BA0109 London-Dubai departure 21.35

BA0106 Dubai-London departure 02:40

BA0108 Dubai-London departure 10:10

The daily flights to and from Abu Dhabi and Muscat, BA0073 and BA0072, will operate as scheduled.

No information has been given yet for the strike period from March 27 to 30.

The airline is recommending to follow the revised flight schedules as “a number of cabin crew have offered to work in support of the airlines contingency plans, which enables us to reinstate previously cancelled flights,” an airline spokesperson said.

Travellers who already have booked tickets for flights that have been cancelled due to the strike will have the option for rebooking or obtaining a refund.
