Dubai: Latvian airline airBaltic announced on Sunday it will launch a direct flight between Riga and Abu Dhabi on October 29, 2017. The service will be four times a week and in codeshare cooperation with Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways. AirBaltic said the service will provide travellers from the Gulf countries with access to Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, as well as northern European destinations of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Russia. Flights between Abu Dhabi and Riga last 6 hours and 15 minutes, with one-way ticket prices starting from Dh1,095, including airport fees and transaction costs, the airline said in a statement.
