Airline carried 458,316 passengers in October; seat load factor stood at 80 per cent
Sharjah: Air Arabia saw passenger traffic increasing by 22 per cent in October, compared to the same period a year earlier, having carried 458,316 passengers in the month. The average seat load factor [passengers as a percentage of total seats available] for the month rested at 80 per cent, registering an increase of three per cent over the figure for October 2011, the budget carrier said in a statement on Wednesday.
The airline currently operates a total fleet of 31 Airbus A320 aircraft, serving 81 routes from three hubs in the UAE, Morocco and Egypt.
