Dubai: Air Arabia Jordan, the Amman-based joint venture of the Sharjah-headquartered Air Arabia, said on Tuesday it will start three weekly flights to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on April 14.

The announcement is the airline’s first expansion in 2016, following its launch in May 2015 at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport.

The three weekly flights to Riyadh will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, according to an emailed statement. It is the airline’s third destination in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah and Dammam.
