Dubai: Air Arabia is adding an Airbus A320 simulator to its training facilities at Sharjah International Airport.

The UAE’s only listed carrier said on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with TRU Simulation + Training, a subsidiary of American company Textron Inc, to produce an A320 FFS X Level D full motion simulator.

The simulator will be delivered by the second quarter of this year, according to an emailed statement. The value of the deal was not stated.

Air Arabia operates a fleet of 42 A320s, narrow body aircraft, to 115 destinations.
