Dubai: Residents can expect unstable weather across the UAE this week, as rain, haze and dust will affect various parts of the country until Friday.
The unstable weather, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), was caused by an extension of upper air low pressure that brought in a flow of relatively cold and humid air stream eastward.

Rainy convective clouds will form in different areas of the country, especially over the eastern coast.

The UAE’s Met Office on Monday warned residents about unstable weather that will continue throughout the week.
Southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at a speed of 20-30 km/h, and may reach up to 45 km/h at times, accompanied with dusty, sandy and hazy weather conditions.

The relative humidity will increase by night and into the early morning, especially over the coastal and internal areas, which will also cause fog and mist to form.
Motorists were also cautioned as road visibility will be brought to 2,000 metres across UAE roads.

The summer weather will reach maximum temperatures of 42-49 degrees Celsius in internal areas, 39-46 degrees Celsius in coastal areas and 33-40 degrees Celsius in the mountain region.
Humidity levels will vary between 45-75 per cent in internal areas, 55-80 per cent in coastal areas and 30-60 per cent in the mountain region.
The NCM pointed out that the minimum temperature will stay relatively the same over the next few days.
On Sunday, the lowest temperature in the UAE was recorded at 26C in Jais Mountain at 5.30am.

The top four lowest temperatures were also recorded at 26.7C in Mebreh Mountain, 29.5C in Jebel Hafeet, 30.6 in Al Heben Mountain and 31.3C in Al Ghuweifat.
