I wonder why Gulf News always publishes negative news related to the Indian government (“Indian traders clueless, confused over new tax”, Gulf News, July 2). The headline regrading the goods and services tax (GST) protest is an example.

This GST bill is an ambitious initiative for India. All Indians must support it. Surely in the beginning of any initiative, there are a few problems. But the newspaper should support such initiatives, not publish it as negative news for the public.

Gulf News, please change your attitude. Give positive news to the public, only then will everybody be happy.
