Gulf News wrongly reported/published the following:
The quote by Intiaj Mondal, director of talent at Rixos Bab Al Bahr Hotel: “We plan to increase our staff to 750, with a mix of part-time workers and permanent contracts. Our current headcount includes about 140 people.” It was part of the page 6 report, ‘UAE hotels roll out part-time jobs as occupancy levels rise’, Business section, published on October 27. It should have read as: “We plan to increase our staff to 750, with a mix of part-time workers and permanent contracts. Our headcount includes 140 people working in housekeeping, and food and beverage (F&B) services.” This is to clarify that the Rixos Bab Al Bahr Hotel currently employs 500 people, not 140 people.
