Pupil burns down school in revenge
Manila: An elementary school student burned down a school building in central Philippines to exact revenge on the head master who refused to admit him in the institution due to his notoriety.
Edwardo Leysa, a 17-year-old pupil, reportedly torched six classrooms of the Caigon Elementary School in Calinog town, Iloilo province before local authorities arrested him, the daily Sunstar reported.
Leysa, being a minor, was taken into custody by the social welfare department. He would have to wait until next year when he reaches the age of 18 to get a trial for committing arson.
