Trump also warned anti-Musk protesters, saying they would face ‘hell’ for their actions
US President Donald Trump took a bold step on Tuesday in an attempt to revive Tesla’s struggling stock price, briefly transforming the White House into a Tesla showroom.
Standing alongside his close advisor, Elon Musk, Trump announced that he would be purchasing one of Musk’s electric vehicles. In a fiery statement, Trump also warned anti-Musk protesters, saying they would face ‘hell’ for their actions.
This unusual product endorsement came after Tesla’s shares plummeted, with market concerns heightened by Trump’s tariffs and Musk’s controversial decisions regarding government relations.
Despite these challenges, Musk revealed plans to double Tesla’s production in the US over the next two years.
Trump praised Musk, calling him a patriot and commended his success in building Tesla without ever asking for personal favours.
