Kenya counts millions of ballots
Nairobi: Counting of millions of ballots continued on Friday in a presidential race that pitted President Mwai Kibaki against his former ally, Raila Odinga.
Results were coming in from around the country and counting could stretch into Saturday, the electoral commission said.
An exit poll by a local independent observer group on Friday showed Kibaki trailing behind Odinga, who got 67 per cent of the vote.
The poll was done by the Institute for Education in Democracy, a non-government organization.
