Video: Dubai 2016 fireworks peep

Dubai: Dubai is known to light up New Year’s Eve like no other destination in the world and this year it’s doing no less.

Starting from the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa – which will light up the sky in the first few seconds of 2016, the fireworks display will race through Downtown Dubai, cross over Shaikh Zayed Road towards Jumeirah Beach and run along the coastline to Dubai’s second most iconic structure – the Burj Al Arab – where a second spectacular display will follow.

Once the Burj Al Arab lights up the sky, the fireworks race will continue along the coast down to Jumeirah Beach Residence and the Marina where the fireworks will end in a crescendo of exploding light and sound in the sky with the Palm Jumeirah in the distance.
