Yahsat and Sevis Systems sign agreement

Dubai: UAE-based Yahsat announced a successful collaboration with Texas-based mobile backhaul technology developer Sevis Systems.

The move is to deliver an optimised backhaul solution that facilitates the expansion of mobile networks across the Yahsat Ka-band footprint. The technology paves the way for introduction of services that boost mobile connectivity at affordable rates in underserved areas across the Middle East, Africa, Central and South West Asia, and successfully demonstrating substantial bandwidth savings via voice and data optimisation as well as improved performance.
