Samsung Galaxy A56, A36 pricing and pre-order perks leak ahead of official launch

Samsung has officially confirmed that its upcoming Galaxy A56 and A36 models will be unveiled on Sunday, March 2. As the launch date approaches, pricing details and pre-order offers have been leaked by a Nigerian retailer.

Pre-orders available in select regions

The Galaxy A series is now available for pre-order in select regions, including Nigeria. A retailer on Threads has listed the upcoming phones along with attractive pre-order perks such as a travel adapter, a Galaxy Fit3, and a premium phone cover.

Customers in Nigeria can secure the devices by paying a deposit of 100,000 Naira ($216), with prices starting at ₦446,000 ($970) for the A36 (8GB + 128GB model) and ₦565,000 ($1,215) for the A56 (8GB + 128GB variant).

• The retailer Pointekonline, has also listed the Galaxy A56 8GB+256GB at NGN 604,000 ( ~$400), and the Galaxy A36 8GB+256GB at NGN 519,000 (~$344).

Malaysian customers can also take advantage of an RM100 discount by purchasing an RM10 e-voucher before March 17, with official sales expected to start mid-March.

Expected features and specifications

The Galaxy A56 and A36 are expected to feature 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera system. The A56 is anticipated to run on the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the A36 is likely to be powered by either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processors. Both phones are expected to support 45W wired fast charging and come with six years of software updates.

Leaked images and pre-order benefits

Leaked images reveal that the Galaxy A56 will be available in four colors: blue, pink, green, and black. The phone will feature a punch-hole display and a triple-camera setup. Pre-order customers will also receive a silicone case, which may be one of the previously leaked designs.

Pre-order exclusivity

While pre-orders have begun in Nigeria, Samsung has not yet opened pre-orders in its larger markets, leading to speculation that these will start alongside the official launch. More details are expected to be confirmed soon, with just days left until the official reveal.
