Dubai: Plug-Ins Electronix, the multi-branded electronics retailer and a member of the Al Futtaim Group, yesterday opened its doors to the public at Dubai Festival City.
The new store will be the UAE's largest electronics retail outlet and the brand's seventh store in the country.
This 35,000 square foot store represents a move from Deira City Centre to a three-fold bigger flagship outlet at Dubai Festival City.
Omar Al Futtaim, CEO of Al Futtaim Group, said: "With the store's unique and elaborate layout, we're convinced that we will raise the bar for electronics retailing in the region."
New additions in the store include a standalone gaming section to boost its position in gaming products, a photo-imaging lab and for the first time, a complete range of car audio.
It also boasts a digital convergence centre, a concept where people can wirelessly connect all electronic appliances such as the home theatre, television and camera to their computer.
