Publicis denies talks with Interpublic

Publicis Groupe SA said it’s held no talks with Interpublic Group of Cos. and has engaged no bank to support discussions, responding to a Financial Times report saying the French company may bid. “Following the speculations published by FT.com Alphaville and their resulting widespread publicity, Publicis Groupe denies having engaged in any discussions with Interpublic Group of Cos,” the company said in a release today.
