Lexmark to set up regional headquarters in Dubai
Dubai: Lexmark International Inc, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of printing solutions, plans to set up its regional head-quarters in Dubai this summer.
Services will include laser and inkjet printers, multifunction products, associated supplies and services for offices and homes already provided in more than 150 countries.
Lexmark will open an office in a site measuring 3,500 square feet in Dubai Internet City.
"Lexmark's decision to set up its regional head quarters in Dubai is in line with the company's regional expansion plans," said Sandrine Guillemoteau, marketing communications manager for Lexmark International Middle East.
She added that Lexmark's expansion is aimed at meeting demand and constantly changing workflow management needs of today's businesses. Lexmark now reports a 9 per cent compound annual growth in revenues.
Lexmark's long-term growth outlook is fuelled by several market and industry trends, including rapid expansion in emerging markets such as Latin America and Asia Pacific.
"Our newest generation of multifunction devices is designed to improve productivity by helping customers bridge the digital and paper worlds easily, quickly and more securely," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice-president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services Division.
