And the giant website at www.dubai-reisen.info claims to have it all.

From shoe repairs to shows in hotels, the website has been designed to offer the German tourist or expatriate all the information needed for a trip to the city.

Olaf said: "The website provides a great service for anyone wishing to know anything about Dubai."

Travel Service Dubai was founded in 2000 in Germany and relocated to the UAE in 2003.
Over the years, Travel Service Dubai has succeeded in developing the biggest internet information platform about the destination of Dubai in the German language.

The main website carries roughly 600 pages offering all sorts of information and advice about Dubai.

Olaf teamed up with many top hotels across the city to provide the official websites in German language.

Hotels include the Burj Al Arab at www.burj-al-arab-dubai.de, the Fairmont at www.fairmont-dubai.de and the Ritz-Carlton at www.ritz-carlton-dubai.de

Olaf added: "Our main objective is to provide a customer-oriented service for Germans, Swiss, Austrians and other European nations. The website is a great way to keep people informed and help them enjoy their stay.

"We are planning now to develop a website about Abu Dhabi in a similar way to that we have built for Dubai.

"Every day we receive between 300 and 600 visitors to the web pages and the figure is rising all the time."The webpage has grown into a leading guide of information for Dubai. Olaf said: "We co-operate with the media in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and in the past year we worked with the leading German television channels including ZDF, ARD, RTL, VOX and SAT 1.

"A portrait of our company recently given on VOX said an average of 1.5 million spectators in the German-speaking region had used the website.

"RTL is going to film in Dubai and Abu Dhabi shortly, and we are pleased to have been able to help them to realise their shooting at various locations across the UAE.

"We hope to get the Abu Dhabi pages up and running in the near future."

Sections include DTCM with latest developments, tickets bookings on Emirates, a pictorial section on the Global Village, souqs, shopping tips and a Dubai guide that includes data on Shaikh Zayed Road and other areas.

The site is updated twice weekly and the Dubai News section allows people to keep abreast of local headlines and happenings.

"I faced considerable problems when I moved to Dubai so this website has been designed to help people survive here in the city," Olaf said.
