What is it?
The Gigaset L410 is a hands-free clip for your fixed line.
I already have a cordless phone. Why do I need this?
A cordless phone cuts the cords, a hands-free device cuts the need for using your hand to hold up the phone. A lot of us do other things while having a long phone conversation, including cooking, surfing the internet and chores; and the Gigaset L410 will give you a hand, or rather free up the one you are using.
And how does this work?
You can clip the device on your shirt/top or collar once it has been registered with the base station. The device rings like any other handset and a call is received using the clip's multifunctional button. You can hear the sound with its powerful loudspeaker and the high-quality microphone ensures there's no echo.
It features a battery that runs for a talk time of five hours and can be fully recharged in two and a half hours. Its ECO mode reduces transmitting power by 80 per cent, resulting in longer battery life.

The Gigaset L410 will cost you Dh149 and will be available before the end of the month.
