The first Bose Professional Audio display centre opens today in Dubai - and it's loud.
G&M International has just launched the Bose Professional Audio display centre in the United Arab Emirates. The concept is truly unique and is the first store of its kind in the region. It not only has professional sound systems on display but also educate and offer one-on-one interface to clients such as consultants, architects, installers, venue operators, and hoteliers. This 145-square-metre Pro display centre opposite the Hamarain Centre in Deira is owned and operated by G&M International, the exclusive Bose representatives in the UAE.
The main idea behind this concept was for all products to be in an operational status. Besides, a customer can see, hear and feel the quality of Bose products, the performance of design solution and understand what a typical installation would cost.
Since most customers may not be well versed in the audio, visual and lighting attributes, it becomes essential to educate the client. The Pro Team of G&M International has achieved this by simulating the display centre like a normal project site. The difference between a good and a non-coordinated installation is displayed, so that the clients understand.
The G&M Bose Pro Centre is divided into five zones, each depicting a real world environment that covers Business Houses (installed with Business Music Systems with Zone control) and the Corporate Boardroom which simulates a multi-purpose meeting room that has in-wall, invisible speakers, motorised video projection systems, facilities for video switching and audio conferencing, voting and interpretation – all this fully automated using the Bose ControlSpace System. The other area is the Entertainment Hall which houses several products from the Bose Pro Family.
The Architectural Space Zone is devoted to showcasing posters from various prestigious projects all over the world that have used Bose products. The Hospitality Room at Level 1 typically simulates a hotel suite setting installed with Wave Music and Lifestyle series equipments. The operation of the Bose Link AL8 is also demonstrated, showing how easy it is to expand the Lifestyle System to additional rooms wirelessly.
"All I can say is that one should visit the showcase, if not for a purchase then to know how audio/visual/lighting and integrated control systems can play an important role in every day life," says Michael Rodrigues, system designer, G&M International.
